At the end of last year we launched Play Sage Gateshead an immersive application where you can play one of the UK’s premier music venue like an instrument. It was launched across mobile and web and was featured in The Creators Project, The Space and Computer Arts magazine.

We created a version for Oculus Rift VR headset and were invited to show it at the prestigious D&AD Judging Week exhibition, Silicon Milkroundabout, and popular GLUG conference amongst others.

When Dutch jazz group Tin Men & The Telephone came on tour to Sage Gateshead in April they wanted to use our app in their show. The Tin Men use mobile technology to interact with their audience creating unique inventive experiences. We adapted our software so that using nothing but their instruments these talented musicians could fly around the building triggering sounds and light effects projected on a large screen above the stage.
