To showcase the potential of this technology we created a proof of concept demo called Wrench the AR Dog. Running on a standard iPhone you can play fetch with a virtual robot dog in your office, home or outside. Unlike previous augmented reality apps, it doesn’t require a special marker to work but instead uses Apple’s ARKit to automatically understand the environment around you.
